Our Mission
To encourage women to seek opportunities in aviation and aerospace, to provide comprehensive resources and benefits to assist women in aviation, to serve as the international resource center for all information on women in aviation, to provide industry access to highly qualified employment resources, to foster aviation and aerospace education, to promote public understanding of accomplishments and contributors of women in aviation.

Women in Aviation, International is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization dedicated to providing networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women and men who are striving for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries. Our local chapter, founded in August 2014, provides support, mentorship and scholarships for members. If you are looking for assistance on how to get started in aviation or to network with local businesses, we can definitely help.
If we do not have a special event going on, we would love to see you at one of our social meetings! Check our event calendar for upcoming events or meetings. If you “Like” us on Facebook under "Women In Aviation Alamo City Chapter" you can get real time updates from the chapter. However, you can visit the “Events” section anytime to view information on future events and meetings. If you are already an international member you can go online through the member portal and you can elect to affiliate yourself with our chapter “Alamo City Chapter”. You will need to input your WAI membership number to complete our local membership application. Our annual dues are $10, you can pay online or mail your completed chapter application and dues to our Treasurer at the address shown on the form or come visit us at one of our events. After your information is processed, we will get back in touch with you to confirm your active membership status with us. We hope to see you out at one of our events or meetings.
