REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES FOR
WOMEN IN AVIATION ALAMO CITY CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship applications must be emailed or postmarked by May 31, 2024.
Applicants must be a member of Women in Aviation International prior to application submittal. WAI membership number must be included and will be verified.

Thanks to the amazing donations from our sponsors and members last year, Women in Aviation Alamo City Chapter will award one $1,500 scholarship in 2024! This scholarship will be awarded to applicants interested in careers in aviation and aerospace or those who are already in the workforce and want to expand their career in/into aviation.
The 2024 scholarship program will begin in January 31, 2024 and run through May 31, 2024. Applicants must be a member of Women in Aviation International and a local chapter member of Women In Aviation Alamo City. Applicants may apply for no more than two scholarships. Applicants must be attending or have been accepted into a higher education, technical school, flight school, continuing education course or aviation related training program for the 2024 Fall semester. All scholarship awards will be sent directly to the school or training program. All remainder scholarship funds due to withdrawal and/or drop status will be returned to WAI Alamo City Chapter. Scholarship will be awarded for Fall 2024.
Scholarship may be applied for electronically through the WAI Alamo City Chapter ([email protected], Subject: Scholarship.) or mailing it. Request mailing address at [email protected].
Please submit your application only when you have all of the necessary files ready. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
Do not apply electronically and mail a paper application for the scholarship.
Should you wish to print out the application form and submit your application on paper, all application materials can be submitted in the same envelope.
Also note – applicant will be invited to attend the WAI Alamo City’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Dinner on October 10, 2024 to be recognized in attaining this scholarship.
